So to make it easier to understand, we have created this FAQ section to answer any questions you might have. Is this a software or is it a website?
Great Question! It’s actually both. We built our Trivia Punch software in a website environment so it can be played from the cloud. This means no software to carry around, no cookie-cutter style game like all the other DJ’s and no clunky gadgets that can get broken or stolen. You simply long into the Trivia Punch software and let the fun begin.
How is the Trivia Punch Software sold?
Our Trivia Punch Software is licensed per client. This means if you have 1 trivia client you would need 1 license – for 2 trivia clients you would need 2 licenses and so on. We do have bulk discounts for DJ’s with many trivia clients.
Why can't I just buy one license and use it with all my trivia clients?
Simple – Our Trivia Punch Software is branded for 1 specific client – it has their logo, colors, ads, phone numbers, etc. throughout the display. It’s made to look unique and to promote that client’s brand. You cannot use this same software in their competitors location because it would be advertising their competition. Neither of them would like that. However, we do have bulk discounts for DJ’s with many trivia clients.
What if I don't want to customize it for every client?
Our Trivia Punch Software is a high-end product and is designed and sold to help promote high-end DJ’s. There are plenty of plain trivia games out there that look like every other DJ’s trivia games. We do not want to lower the quality of this product and thus would suggest you seek a lower end trivia company/game. The challenge is that theirs cost more and you get less so why wouldn’t you want to class a joint up? We do offer bulk discounts for DJ’s with many trivia clients.
Is there support when I set up my Trivia Punch Software?
Absolutely! There is plenty of support in many different formats. We first start by working with you to master the software – we make your ads, design for your client, teach you how to use the software and more. Then there is a help button on every page of your account software to answer your questions.
Do I ever have to update the Trivia Punch Software?
Simple answer is NO. The more technical answer is that when there is an update to the software we take care of it for you. We are constantly upgrading the servers, software, questions and answers and a whole lot more. The good news is that you always have an up to date software with no extra work on your end.
Is the scoring preset or can the DJ make their own?
We have set the scoring system up so that the DJ can choose the points per question per round. This means you can pick from preformatted scores for every round. So let’s say the first round is simple questions but only worth 1 point per question – that’s easy to do. How about the final round where the points are 50 per question – no problem. Or the DJ can choose the custom option and add whatever score he or she wants. It’s simple and fast.
How are the topics chosen for each game?
Our Trivia Punch Software is extremely versatile and the DJ’s have full power to choose the topics they want to use throughout the entire game. So lets say you want Round 1 to be Movies – then in the setup process you can choose the category Movies for round 1 and nothing else. Or maybe you want random questions and let the software choose, well that’s possible as well. You can choose the category or categories for every round you want. This is just one of the many ways to make this game custom designed for the DJ, the Bar, etc.
How are the Question Levels of Difficulty chosen?
Our Trivia Punch Software has 3 levels of degrees of difficulties: Level 1 or Easy, Level 2 or Moderate and Level 3 or Hard. Or maybe you want to choose Random and let the software decide.
How are the Question Levels chosen?
Our Trivia Punch Software is extremely versatile and the DJ has full power to choose the levels they want to use throughout the entire game. So lets say you want Round 1 to be Movies – but only level 3 (the hardest level) – then in the setup process you can choose the category Movies for round 1 and then you choose Level 3. Or maybe you want random levels and let the software choose, well that’s possible as well. You can choose the level of difficulties for every round you want. This is just one of the many ways to make this game custom designed for the DJ, the Bar, etc.
Will my Trivia Punch Software look like everyone else's who uses it?
No. That’s one of the cool features with this program. We custom design it and brand it with your client’s logo, colors, ads, etc. We also add your logo and colors into it for a one of a kind package to use with that important client. Some things will be similar like the layout – where the question is asked, where the ads rotate, where your logo is, etc.
Do I have to set the trivia game up every time before I use it?
No. Our Trivia Punch Software can be pre-programmed for the different nights or different games. So when you show up to play you simply choose the game you have already set up and go.
